Kaua‘i Distillery Donates 54 Gallons of Hand Sanitizer to Kaiser Permanente

Kaiser Permanente received 18 cases of 1.75 liter bottles of hand sanitizer from Kauaʻi’s Kōloa Rum Company, totaling approximately 54 gallons.
Kōloa Rum Company has registered with the FDA as a producer, and has received assigned NDCs (National Drug Codes) for each bottle size in production.
The company is also working closely with Brian Carter, compounding pharmacist and principal of Westside Pharmacy on Kauaʻi to ensure that production processes, ingredients and protocols are in accordance with FDA guidelines and standards.
