In the spirit of the Lunar New Year, select stores at the Queen Kaʻahumanu Center in Kahului will accept lai see (red envelopes), Feb. 12-19, 2021. All donations will be distributed to local non-profit organizations on Maui.
Locations accepting lai see include: Hallmark, Fun Factory, GoldMart and Maui Friends of the Library.
QKC Tenant Coordinators expressed excitement in announcing the event saying, “Let’s celebrate good luck, good fortune and goodwill this Chinese New Year!”
