A Maui student athlete entered the winner’s circle during a national football kicking competition that attracted more than 100 of the nation’s top high school kickers.

Eli Kamakani Caires of Upcountry, Maui voyaged to the winner circle for his performance at the invitational underclassmen Chris Sailer’s Football Kicking Camp held at Notre Dame High-school in Northern California this past weekend.
