Surveillance Images Released in Vehicle Break-in Investigation

The Maui Police Department released surveillance images of an individual wanted for alleged involvement in a vehicle break-in at Ulua Beach in South Maui last week.
According to police reports, occupants of a 1995 White Honda Civic CRX four-door sedan arrived at the beach parking lot at around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, and locked valuables within the trunk of the vehicle.
Police say that when the occupants returned at 10:30 a.m., they found that items were missing from the trunk of the vehicle.
Among the items taken was an American Savings Bank Debit Card which was utilized by the alleged offender on the same day at three different ATM’s, taking out approximately $745.50 from the account, police said.
Included in this post are two surveillance images taken from ATM machines at American Savings Bank and Bank of Hawaiʻi.
