Dazoo Restaurant Presents Monthly Pau Vodka Night
By Maui Now Staff
If you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain, you may also enjoy a little something called the “Breaker of Chains.”
This Wednesday, Aug. 20, Dazoo Restaurant in Paia presents their monthly Pau Vodka Night.
From 5 to 7 p.m. they are serving four new cocktails, featuring Maui’s own Pau Vodka and locally-sourced, fresh squeezed juices.
Promoters note Pau’s Master Distiller, Mark Nigbur, “will be on hand to answer questions and entertain the crowds!”
There are no specific details with respect to the promised entertainment, but we’re counting on some fire eating or at least some mid-level street magic with that kind of hype.
Meanwhile, the true stars of the show – the featured cocktails – include:
- Mother of Dragons – Pau Vodka, house made lilikoi shrub, lime juice, ginger beer and mint garnish
- Sun & Stars – Pau Vodka, Creme de Cassis, pineapple and lime juices and lime zest garnish
- Breaker of Chains – Pau Vodka, ginger ale, lime juice with Fernet Branca float
- Dothraki Blood – Pau Vodka, Orange Curacao, Orgeat, grilled lemonade, salted lemon wheel
For those who like a little food with their adult beverage, the restaurant serves cuisine with a Korean flair and pastries made in-house by next-door neighbor (same owner) Moana Bakery.
