Pacific Radio Group Launches New Mobile Application: Hawaii Guide Me
This week, Pacific Radio Group officially launched the first-ever comprehensive mobile application for all the Hawaiian Islands, “Hawaii Guide Me.”
Compatible with Apple’s iPhone, iTouch and iPad; the application offers a personal guide to the 50th state with detailed information, consumer reviews, and GPS navigation for restaurants, accommodations, activities, shops, events, special landmarks, attractions and the unique mobile coupon system that allows businesses to dynamically create mobile coupons. The application can be downloaded for FREE in Apple’s iTunes store, the App store on your mobile device or at www.HawaiiGuideMe.com.
The Hawaii Guide Me application took Pacific Radio Group 10 months to develop, and was driven by the need to provide a more responsive, optimally efficient and accessible resource for users. With almost 4,000 businesses in the database, Hawaii Guide Me is the most comprehensive App available on or about Hawaii. “We no longer live, work and play in a static media world,” said Chuck Bergson, President and CEO of Pacific Radio Group. “Hawaii Guide Me is dynamic and changes minute-by-minute.”
Established in 1984, Pacific Radio Group owns and operates 14 Radio Stations in the State of Hawaii and features 11 websites including www.mauinow.com. Their newest venture, Hawaii Guide Me, represents the company’s commitment to expand their product offerings while responding to the demands of today’s tech savvy consumers.
“Consumers worldwide are changing how they access information,” said Bergson. “Emerging technologies are forcing media to take another look at how we are providing resources to our customers, and whether we are meeting their demands for accessing information that is quick and convenient. Hawaii Guide Me offers these benefits while focusing on a singular destination, Hawaii.”
With Hawaii Guide Me, Pacific Radio Group hopes to capitalize on a niche market, specifically visitors to Hawaii. However, even local residents will find this comprehensive, interactive resource a convenient tool to get around the islands and to learn what others are saying about restaurants, accommodations, visitor attractions, and more.
