Three Maui Teens Arrested After Vehicle Break-in Video Goes Viral

Maui police arrested three teens after investigating a video that showed suspects involved in the unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.

The arrests included: a 15-year-old from Makawao; and a 16-year-old and 13-year-old from Haʻikū.

The Maui Police Department Wailuku Patrol Division and members of the Juvenile Crime Prevention Division joined in investigating the case, where the video footage was posted on social media.

Police say, with the assistance of the public and through investigation, several juvenile males were identified in connection with the case.

The investigation is still ongoing.
