RevoluSun Expands to Maui: Solar Seminar Feb. 3, 2011
By Wendy Osher
RevoluSun, a leading provider of residential and commercial solar systems, has expanded to Maui.
In conjunction with its Maui launch, the company will host a solar education seminar on February 3 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Maui Beach Hotel in Kahului. The seminar is free and open to the public. It is designed to help Maui homeowners better understand how solar works, explain current state and federal incentives, and provide tips on what to look for when choosing solar installation.
“Homeowners are quickly realizing the financial and environmental benefits of renewable energy, and they are choosing RevoluSun to help them make the switch,” said Todd Georgopapadokos, a RevoluSun partner.
In the first 10 months of 2010, RevoluSun was responsible for designing and installing 36% of all residential solar systems in the state.
RevoluSun is also providing Maui residents the option of obtaining service from SunRun, which offers down payments for as little as $0 down. The service option allows homeowners to purchase solar power at pre-determined monthly rates, protecting them from unpredictable rate increases and fluctuations.
“SunRun’s solar power service eliminates the high upfront cost of going solar and helps homeowners take control of their electricity bills. They lock in predictable rates that will reduce their monthly power bills, and they can feel good about using clean power,” said Lynn Jurich, president of SunRun.
