The Location:Kalele Care Services was founded in 2020 by Ohana Pacific Health to address the complex healthcare needs of the community with an emphasis on assisting Kupuna to live longer and healthier independent lives. This in-person position will be based on Maui.The Position:We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Office Coordinator to provide clerical functions and maintain patient electronic health records. The Office Assistant is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient office operations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain a good working rapport with team members, guests, and patients. The Office Assistant serves as the hub for incoming calls, faxes, and other forms of communication and supports various administrative and clerical tasks.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with onboarding tasks for new team members.
Provide support during the training and orientation process.
Fax, email, and communicate necessary information to relevant parties.
Assist with filing claims and billing processes.
Provide basic IT support
Create and update patient profiles.
Manage provider schedules and assist with call outs.
Reassign patients as needed.
Maintain effective communication with team members, guests, patients, and community providers.
Assist in communicating with providers within OPH.
Order supplies as needed to ensure the office runs smoothly.
Maintain organized and efficient filing systems.
Assist in keeping program policies and procedures up to date.
Perform other duties as assigned to support office operations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current medical/health screening includes 2 step TB Clearance.
Two years of experience in clerical, office, or administrative healthcare role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.
This position is primarily based in an office environment.
May require occasional lifting of office supplies and materials.
