Job Summary Jim Falk Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Diesel Technician to join our fast-paced and highly skilled team. The role is primarily responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on vehicles with diesel engines. The ideal candidate will be working in our Kahului, Hawaii location; have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in automotive technology; and be able to complete work swiftly and accurately.Compensation & Benefits The Automotive Diesel Technician will be paid an hourly rate of $25 to $50 per hour biweekly. This position may be available as a full-time, as well as a contracted position. Benefits may also be included depending on the length of contract.Responsibilities The Automotive Diesel Technician will be responsible for:
Analyzing and diagnosing customer’s vehicles for repair.
Completing necessary repairs on Diesel vehicles with efficiency and precision.
Keeping a high level of customer service.
Doing necessary maintenance on vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter changes.
Keeping current on the latest technology and vehicle communication systems.
Contributing to a positive, productive, and safe work environment.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in automotive technology
Certified Automotive Technician or Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision.
