Position Summary
Like all HCF team members and volunteers, the Sr. Project Manager and Business Analyst exudes the heart and passion for HCF’s mission: to inspire generosity, advocate for equity, forge connections and invest in community to create a better Hawai‘i. Specifically, as the Sr. Project Manager and Business Analyst focused on Maui, you will be involved supporting the Senior Director of the Maui Recovery Effort (MRE) and related CHANGE initiatives like House Maui. Additionally, as part of the Maui Recovery Effort, you will be involved in leading, coordinating and implementing key initiatives for the recovery efforts and/or supporting appropriate frameworks, policies, procedures to be used for the current or future disasters as part of Business Line 3 (BL3). In doing this work, you will play a critical role in identifying potential risks, developing strategies to mitigate these risks, and providing solution sets via written and oral direction-setting and decision-making frameworks that support staff. This position requires a blend of project management expertise, business case development and deep understanding of business processes and systems.
Key responsibilities fall within the primary areas of focus and are as follows.
Disaster Recovery Strategy & Implementation:
· Support the development and maintenance of comprehensive disaster recovery plans for Maui as well as internal HCF critical business processes and systems.
· Work with VP of Risk/Compliance to conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities that could impact the organization's operations.
· Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish recovery objectives, strategies, and priorities that can be used for Business Line 3 (BL3).
Project Management:
· Plan, execute, and oversee CHANGE framework initiatives relevant to Maui as assigned by the Senior Director of MRE, including disaster recovery projects/investments funded by the Maui Strong Fund (MSF) and the House Maui Initiative. Oversight starts from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
· Coordinate with cross-sector teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
· Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Project Support
Stakeholder Engagement
Business and Systems Analysis:
· Analyze HCF Business Architecture, business processes, systems, and dependencies to identify critical components and potential points of failure.
· Develop business impact analyses to assess the potential consequences of disruptions and prioritize recovery efforts accordingly.
· Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable plans and strategies.
Training and Awareness:
· Develop and deliver training programs and materials to increase awareness of disaster recovery protocols and procedures.
· Provide guidance and support to business units in implementing best practices for disaster preparedness and response.
· Foster a culture of resilience and accountability across the organization.
Other Responsibilities
· Serve as a knowledgeable and collaborative representative of HCF in the community.
· Achieves effective results, provides excellent customer service and value both internally and externally, collaborate, learn and improve, innovate and take risks, and focus on HCF’s community mission.

HCF believes in ensuring that our team members can thrive in their positions. This role requires a seasoned professional who can effectively navigate the intersection of project management and business analysis while working with cross sector teams. Accordingly, the Sr. Project Manager and Business Analyst must possess the following knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and education:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
· Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation preferred or commensurate experience.
· Preferred: Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management and business analysis, with at least 3 years focused on disaster recovery and/or housing/development.
· Strong knowledge of disaster recovery principles, methodologies, and best practices.
· Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, such as project scheduling, risk
management, and stakeholder engagement.
· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex business processes and identify areas for improvement.
· Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and drive consensus.
· Experience in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government is a plus.
· Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
· Demonstrated passion for the betterment of Hawaii and its people.
· Knowledge, sensitivity, and understanding of the history and complexities of Hawaii’s multicultural community.
· Capable of thriving in a highly collaborative and flexible organization with an appreciation

· Excellent time management and organizational skills to effectively meet multiple deadlines on various projects often running concurrently.
· Ability to perform work with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Works under regular office conditions with the ability to work remotely.
· General office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with flexible hours as needed.
· Required to travel as needed.
· Ability to operate general office equipment including computer, copier, printers, fax machine, etc.
· Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, up to 25 lbs. of general office material or equipment.
Salary Range: $92,250 - $120,600
