To cap off Friday’s community-inspired events honoring Lahaina, upwards of 500 people attended “Puana Aloha no Lahaina” at the Lahaina Civic Center on Friday night.

Viewers can tune in at 5:30 p.m. each day, June 21-25, and enjoy entertainment, food demonstrations, craft how-to’s and hear the stories from communities on Maui, Moloka‘i, Lāna‘i and in Hāna.

Mother’s Day brunch at Kā‘anapali Beach Hotel on May 8 includes entertainment from Uluwehi Guerrero and Hālau Hula Kauluokalā, emceed by KPOA’s Alaka‘i Paleka.

Pacific Radio Group will be offering live results coverage again this year in coordination with the University of Hawaii Maui College. The broadcast will be carried on MCTV Channel 55 and KNUI AM 900, from 5:30 p.m. until the final results for Maui are tallied.

The live program will start at 5:30 p.m. this Saturday, August 11, and will be carried on MCTV Cable 55, KNUI AM 900, and via a stream on at mauinow.com.

Maui musicians and vocalists were among those honored with awards at the 35th Annual Nā Hōkū Hanohano event held Sunday night at the Hawai’i Convention Center.

Meadow Gold Dairies is now recruiting participants for the upcoming 8th Annual Maui Meadow Gold Milk Carton Regatta. The competition takes place on Saturday, April 28, and is open to Maui Middle and High Schools.
