The Haʻikū School PTA hosts a Silent Auction online this year in place of the annual Haʻikū Hoʻolauleʻa and Flower Festival. The online auction opens on Thursday, April 6 at 6 a.m., and closes at 8 p.m. on April 12, 2023.

Roots School in Haʻikū recently completed the first phase of renovations as part of its $1 million Growing Roots Capital Campaign.

A drive-thru food distribution event will be held on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 between 9 to 11 a.m. at the Kalanikahua Hou Chuch in Haʻikū. The food drive is open to the public and attendees are requested to reserve a bag and time slot online or by texting (808) 385-3176.

Kula Elementary Wins $1K in Kaiser Activity Challenge

Maui’s Kula Elementary School won $1,000 in cash as part of Kaiser Permanente’s semiannual Fire Up Your Feet Fall Activity Challenge. The funds will be used to fund the purchase of physical activity and sports equipment or support wellness initiatives on campus.

The Ha‘ikū Ho‘olaule‘a & Flower Festival, a free, day-long community celebration and fundraiser for Ha‘ikū Elementary School, the Ha‘ikū Boys & Girls Club and the Ha‘ikū Community Association, is scheduled for Saturday, April 23, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school.
