Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice has opened its newest location at Maui Ocean Center.   The shave ice stand — located near Maui Ocean Center’s entrance — is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Breakwall Shave Ice Co. in Lahaina announced they will now be opening at 7:30 a.m. to benefit customers who wake up early. Closing time is 9 p.m.

Down the Hatch in Lāhainā now touts the longest happy hour on Maui, from 2 to 6 p.m. daily, along with several February events, including a Valentine’s party.

The shave ice and red hot dogs that were a staple at Tom’s Mini Mart in Paukūkalo have returned under a new owner and different name. Poke Hale Grindz opened today under the ownership of Anthony Vargas, Jr., with old favorites and new finds.
