A visitor, swimming in waters near Honokōwai in West Maui, was pulled unresponsive from the ocean on Thursday afternoon, March 3, 2016.

A visitor was airlifted from the Kailua area of East Maui on Thursday, May 21, 2015 after suffering injuries to her knee while hiking in the area often referred to as the “Bamboo Forest.”
