PASSPORT RESORTS SELLS INTEREST IN HOTEL HANA-MAUI

A minority owner of the Hotel Hana-Maui & Honua Spa has sold its interest in the remote East Maui property.  The San Francisco-based Passport Resorts LLC, completed the transaction on January 6^th, transitioning operations of the Four Diamond resort to Arden Grove Hospitality.  Passport Resorts first took over management of the Hotel Hana-Maui in August of 2001.  The property has garnered numerous industry awards over the years including a 2008 nomination to Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Hotels List and Conde Nast’s Top 25 Hawaii Resorts in 2008.
