Arthritis Management Workshop Offered at Kaiser Maui Lani

A six-week program on Living with Arthritis is being offered to the people of Maui in July.  The program is provided through the Maui County Office on Aging, and is part of the Stanford Better Choices Better Health Program.

The health management program for people with chronic disease is offered to both arthritis sufferers and caregivers.  Advance registration is required, and space is limited to 14 participants per class.

Classes begin on Monday, July 25, 2011 at the Kaiser Permanente Maui Lani clinic located at 55 Maui Lani Parkway.  Each session runs from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Cost for the entire workshop series is $10 for those 60-years and older, and $35 for those under 60.    Scholarships may be available based upon need.  For more information or to register, call 281-0094.
