Kāʻanapali Golf Courses in Lahaina on Maui and Puakea Golf Course in Līhue on Kauaʻi are offering an annual “Juniors Play Free” program, good for rounds until August 31, 2015.

As part of the program to encourage and engage the next generation of golfers, the courses are offering the free play or ride passes to junior golfers from age seven to 17 who are accompanied by a paying adult.

Kāʻanapali’s “Keiki” tees were introduced several years ago, measure a junior-friendly 2,459 yards, and play to a par 71.  The fun and colorful markers treat keiki to memorable experiences while playing with friends and family on the panoramic Kai Course.

More than 2,000 rounds are played every summer by young golfers taking advantage of Ka’anapali and Puakea’s entertaining programs.  Both courses are managed by Billy Casper Golf.

“My fondest childhood memories are traveling and playing golf with my dad,” says Ed Kageyama, PGA Regional Manager for BCG. “Golf is a wonderful game to introduce kids to as it teaches integrity, honesty, etiquette and respect.”
