Chef’s special menus and spectacular sunsets are on the table for Mākena Beach & Golf Resort’s Valentine’s Day offerings. On Sunday, Feb. 14, Mākena’s Molokini Bar & Grille serves up a special three-course Valentine’s Day Menu at $125 per couple.

In addition, the resort offers three, four and seven-course private oceanside dining experiences, starting at $100 per person.  Learn more below.

Molokini Bar & Grille’s Valentine’s Day menu has been designed by Executive Chef Kurt Lesmerises. It begins with a celebratory sparkling wine toast with strawberries and includes the following multi-choice courses:

•FIRE-ROASTED TOMATO SOUP
Artisan goat cheese, garden fresh basil and toasted crostini

Romaine, reggiano parmesan, cherry tomato, herb crouton and house-made anchovy balsamic dressing
•KUMU FARMS CERTIFIED ORGANIC BABY GREENS
Grilled sweet corn, red onion, honey crisp apple, grape tomato and Hilo honey kaffir lime vinaigrette

Second Course (choice of one)

Served at the resort’s premier restaurant, the Molokini Bar & Grille offers panoramic sunset views of Maui’s majestic southern coast, with nightly live music. Reservations are recommended. The Molokini Bar & Grille restaurant is open from 5:30 to 10 p.m.

For an even more intimate setting, the Mākena Beach & Golf Resort offers its Oceanside Dining Experience. The dinner is offered under the stars or in the resort’s oceanside Thai-style thatch-roof cabanas. With three, four or seven-course dinner menu options crafted by Executive Chef Kurt Lesmerises, Mākena’s oceanside dinner also includes personal butler services and starts at $100 per person. Additional costs and fees apply, and 48-hour advance reservations are required for all Oceanside Dining requests.
