Duke’s Beach House honored Chef Greg Gifford for 25 years with TS Restaurants at a recent Hawaiian music performance featuring Henry Kapono.

Chef Greg started his career at TS Restaurants at the Grill and Bar in 1990, moving on to Kimo’s and Leilani’s on the Beach in 1997 and 1998 respectively.

In 2010, company executives say, “Chef Greg became an invaluable member of the Duke’s Beach House ʻOhana and continues to enhance the experiences of guests and employees alike.”

“As an avid runner and dedicated husband and father,” company representatives say, “Gifford incorporates his healthy lifestyle and his commitment to the community into his work. He is passionate about creating healthy menu items that highlight Maui grown products.”

During the performance, Duke’s Beach House and Chef Greg also presented Localicious Maui with a donation of $1,782. The Localicious Maui is a program that provides support to local agriculture programs, including scholarships to students and farmers.

“We feel so lucky to have Greg Gifford as a part of the TS Restaurants family for the past 25 years,” said Noah Yamada, Duke’s Beach House General Manager in the announcement. “His positive attitude and true Aloha spirit, make him a vital team member,” said Yamada.
