Maui Surf Forecast
North: Many spots are expected to be waist/shoulder high today. The swell is fading.
West: Ankle high surf is expected. Pretty flat for most spots. Breaks catching the wrap could get up to waist high or more.
South: Surf is pretty flat today.
A small south-southwest is expected to build Monday into Tuesday and peak Wednesday up to about waist high. Nothing promising out of the SPAC anytime soon.
Our current north-northwest swell is expected to slowly fade out today. Tuesday into Wednesday a large northwest swell is forecast to fill in. Wednesday morning deep water outer reef breaks could get up to 30 foot faces or perhaps more. Conditions are not expected to be very good. Models are showing another northwest swell around April 5th. Will keep an eye on the progress.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
