Tickets on Sale for 11th Annual Kū Mai Ka Hula Competition

Tickets went on sale today for MACC members for the 11th Annual Kū Mai Ka Hula competition. Maui’s only adult hula event will be held Saturday Sep. 10, 2016 at 1 p.m at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center’s Castle Theater. General public tickets will be available on Monday, Aug. 8, 2016.

The event will feature award-winning hālau from Hawai’i, the continental U.S., and Japan, competing in solo and group performances.

Male and female dancers perform both kahiko (traditional) and ‘auana (modern) hula stylings, judged by renowned, prestigious kumu hula.
