Maui Electric Aerial Line Inspections, March 7-9

Maui Electric Company will be using a helicopter to perform routine power line inspections on Maui and Moloka‘i from Tuesday, March 7 to Thursday, March 9, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting.

The inspections will take place on:

·Tuesday, March 7: Upcountry Maui
·Wednesday, March 8: Central Maui and West Maui
·Thursday, March 9: Moloka‘i

Dates and locations are subject to change due to weather. Routine aerial inspections of Maui Electric’s equipment, including electrical lines, poles and substations, are necessary to maintain stable and reliable electrical service for the Maui County community.
