Real Estate Maui Now Hot Condo Picks

This week, the Realtors Association of Maui released their monthly data for March 2017 regarding house and condo prices throughout Maui.

RAM reported an increase in condo sales from month and year before levels with 131 units sold in March–that’s up 18 units from the previous month, and up 27 units from the same time last year.

The median price for a condo in March was $395,000, down $70,000 (-15%) from the February median of $465,000, and down from the $494,000 (-20%) price tag at the same time last year, according to RAM.

The greatest number of condos sold in March was in Kīhei where 42 condos sold for a median price of $357,000, followed by Nāpili/Kahana/Honokōwai where 25 condos sold for a median of $325,000, according to RAM data.

The median condo price for Kīhei dropped $46,900 and sold three less condos in March than in February.

The median condo price for Nāpili/Kahana/Honokōwai dropped $15,000 since February and dropped $185,000 from the same time last year. Six more condos were sold in March compared to February and two more condors were sold from the same time last year.

Taking RAM’s monthly and yearly data into account, below are a few of the newest properties listed on MLS for the week that are priced around RAM’s median condo sales.
