Dave Futch Coldwell Banker Island Properties R(S)
A local Maui resident since 1988, Dave has developed an extensive knowledge of this beautiful island, it’s diverse climates and topographies, and also of the special types of communities around the island. Pick your lifestyle, and Dave can take you there.

Passion for the ocean, Maui and Andrea!

It was the ocean that brought Dave here. Growing up in Florida, he acquired a lifelong passion for surfing. Dave’s travels took him from Miami to Maui, and also introduced him to his future wife, Andrea. “I fell in love with Andrea, then Maui and the rest is history!”

Dave understands Maui home ownership, literally from the ground up.

Dave found his piece of paradise and built his family’s home from the ground up. Dave has always enjoyed carpentry and landscaping. While in college, he explored architecture and technical drawing. He employs these interests when renovating properties and when helping other folks to discover great opportunities. “I delight in helping them to realize their dream of finding a home they can make their own.”

A doting father to beautiful Sabrina, Dave still makes time for active involvement in our Maui community.

Dave and Andrea are the proud parents of Sabrina, who graduated from Haleakala Waldorf School and now attends Seabury Hall. Dave serves as a director on the Waldorf School’s Board, serves on their Building and Grounds Committee, chairs the annual Holiday Faire food committee, chairs the Waldorf High School Committee. He’s a Board member of the Realtor Association of Maui, serving as the Regional Director for the UpCountry area, is a member of the Maui Chamber of Commerce, Maui Arts & Cultural Center, is a Board member of the Maui Executives Association, serving as chair of the Membership and Ethics Committees and is Board President of the Hea’aula Owners Association. Dave’s still a passionate surfer, and loves kitesurfing, playing golf and sharing his discoveries. Most of all, he enjoys being Andrea’s husband and Sabrina’s dad.

A winning, positive approach to everything.

“I have known Dave Futch for many years,” says Mark Phipps. “I find him to be one of the most highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure to associate with. Whatever task he takes on, he pursues it with all his energy. Dave has a refreshingly personal touch that is hard to find in today’s marketplace. His people skills and sales skills leave everyone involved feeling like a winner.”

“I’ve always been a people person,” Dave acknowledges. “I pride myself on my integrity, hard work and enthusiasm – values my parents gave me. But what I really get a kick out of is making people happy.”

His Philosopy.

“I honor those individuals who have left a legacy, whether it’s inventing a light bulb or the Theory of Realitivity, quantum physics or Velcro. Helping other folks attain the home they’ve always wanted-that’s a pretty good legacy, too.”

Josh Jerman Hawaii Life R(B)
Bringing a successful record of over a decade of real estate sales on Maui, Josh Jerman has distinguished himself as both a rising star and industry leader in Hawaii real estate. This should come as no surprise, as he has proven time and time again that the market may change, but ambition never does.

The Josh Jerman team includes two salespeople, Souksamlane Jerman, R(S) and Ilsa Mitchell Jencks, R(S). His team runs like a well-oiled machine. The sales volume and level of service they're able to provide is astounding. The Josh Jerman team has adapted to the changes in both the real estate market as well as the industry, by incorporating systems and team members to handle not only short sales and bank-owned inventory (REOs), new project sales, as well as luxury real estate.

Raised in Upcountry Maui, Josh attended Baldwin High School before heading to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. There, he graduated cum laude with two bachelor's degrees, one in International Relations of the Asia-Pacific Region and the other in Comparative Religion. He has traveled the world (23 countries and counting), and has lived in Indonesia, Nepal and Scotland. He has hiked to Machu Picchu and to Mount Everest's Base Camp, canoed the Amazon River and swam in the Ganges, trekked in the North Pole and touched the Great Wall of China. Throughout his adventures, Josh developed an appreciation, awareness and respect for all people, an experience that inspired him to give back to his community.

Josh returned to Maui to start his career, and over the years, he has earned a solid reputation for professionalism and personal integrity. His hard work and success has not gone unnoticed. Josh has been recognized by Pacific Business News as one of the "Top 40 Under Forty" professionals in the State of Hawai'i. He was also named one of the Maui Weekly's Unsung Heroes of 2010 for his philanthropic endeavors, as well as Person of the Year in 2011. Josh was also honored as the recipient of Maui County's Young Business Person of Year Award for 2012, and has been listed as one of the Top 100 Realtors in the State of Hawai'i by Hawaii Business, and one of the Top 50 Residential Real Estate Agents in 2015 by Pacific Business News.

Josh's expertise as a broker extends far beyond the four walls of his office in the Wailea Town Center. He serves on the Realtors Association of Maui (RAM) Board of Directors, the Hawai'i Association of Realtors Young Professionals Network and the RAM Technology Committee. And when it comes to education, it's safe to say Josh has the market cornered. As a real estate columnist for the Maui Weekly, he encouraged readers to Ask Josh about a range of issues. In addition, as the founder of the Josh Jerman Foundation and the Josh Jerman Maui Nui Scholarship, he has awarded more than $35,000 to college-bound high school students across Maui County.

If there's one thing to be said about Josh, it's that he is dedicated to delivering the highest level of customer service, in order to achieve the best results for his clientele.

Wailuku FCU Wailuku Federal Credit Union
Did you know that a 3% down payment may get you into your dream home! Buy your home with as little as 3% down and we'll take care of the PMI (Private Mortgage Insurance). PMI is required by most lenders if you don't put a down payment of 20% or more on your home. YOU pay the premium - but the lender gets the protection. That changes with Wailuku Federal Credit Union. Plus we'll help you get affordable payments and make your dream of home ownership a reality.

First Mortgage Home Loans

We work together with Quicken Loans to offer you a wide variety of home loans at very competitive rates and closing costs. Through this relationship, you are able to deal with someone in person while receiving the benefits of working with a large lender like Quicken Loans. Quicken Loans is known for their great service and consistently receives high customer satisfaction ratings. We even offer jumbo loans (loan amount greater than $625,500) for primary residences or second homes. If you’re in the market to purchase a home and require financing, it’s never too early to start the loan process. Often times, people don't think of credit unions for their home loans, but you may be pleasantly surprised with our home loan program.

Since information found online pertaining to home loans may be deceiving or inaccurate, we believe that it’s best to speak with someone to discuss your situation, so please give us a call or schedule an appointment and we’ll be happy to discuss your situation with you.

Home Equity Line of Credit

If you have sufficient equity (value) in your property, a home equity line of credit (HELOC) is a great financing option. A HELOC has unlimited uses. How you use the loan proceeds is up to you. The proceeds may be used for home improvement, tuition, the purchase of a photovoltaic system, a down payment to purchase another property, etc. Or the line of credit may be used as an emergency source of funds. And the interest that you pay may be tax deductible so please consult with your tax advisor about the deductibility. Since this is a line of credit, you will be charged interest only on the outstanding balance; no balance, no interest and the line of credit will be available to you for up to 10 years.
