Hana Hwy downed tree 11.10.18. PC: Hawaii DOT

HANA HWY LANDSLIDE, TREE DOWN UPDATE; FLOOD ADVISORY EXTENDED:

Update 11/10 5:09 p.m.: Crews have cleared the fallen tree on Hana Highway at mile marker 21 and six landslides between mile markers 7 and 13. State transportation crews are now responding to a slide at mile marker 20.8. The National Weather Service has extended the flood advisory for Mauu through 8 p.m.

11/10 3:10 p.m.: State transportation crews are reporting multiple landslides on Hana Highway between mile markers 7 and 13. Crews are also responding to a fallen tree blocking both lanes of Hana Highway at mile marker 21. The National Weather Service in Honolulu has also extended the flood advisory for Maui through 5 p.m.
