Forecasters say locally strong trade winds will bring northeast to east winds of 25 knots and seas of 6 to 12 feet to affected areas.

The conditions are considered hazardous for small craft. Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels are advised to avoid navigating in these conditions.

The small craft advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
