Hawaiian Airlines, through its new program partner Kobie Marketing, has expanded and improved its highly popular HawaiianMiles frequent flyer program.

The program has added hundreds of new online and in-store brand-name products and services, as well as an expanded online shopping experience that earns mileage on purchases.

” Our frequent flyer program was already one of the best in the airline industry, but members will now discover we have raised the bar even higher in providing them with more buying power and new ways to earn miles for travel and other rewards,” said Mark Dunkerley, Hawaiian’s president and CEO.

Working with new program partner Kobie Marketing, Hawaiian has created a newly redesigned website for HawaiianMiles members at https://partners.hawaiianairlines.com that showcases many new product partners and mileage earning opportunities.

New program features include:

  • HawaiianMiles Rewards Toolbar allowing members to earn miles while searching online for participating product partners.
  • Gift Card Mall allowing members to purchase gift cards online from brand name retailers and earn miles with their purchase.
  • HawaiianMiles eMarket has tripled the number of available online retail partners to more than 1,000 participants, and is now offering more special promotions and bonus-mile earning opportunities for members when making purchases.
  • Map Search feature makes it easier for members to search for partners and products by category or location, and includes built-in links to Facebook and Twitter for them to share this information with the network of friends and associates.

Members can also continue to take advantage of the HawaiianMiles programs they have been using in growing numbers, including the popular XtraMiles Program that provides them with up to five miles per dollar spent when using their Hawaiian Airlines Visa Card at participating partner outlets in Hawaii and on the U.S. mainland.

“We are honored to be selected as Hawaiian Airlines’ partner of choice to rebuild its HawaiianMiles loyalty program and bring even more value to the membership,” said Michael Hemsey, president of Kobie Marketing.

In creating this new program for HawaiianMiles, Kobie Marketing is working with hundreds of top national and local merchants to offer – for no fees beyond the cost of miles – participating partners placement on Hawaiian’s website, and promotion through newsletters, mileage statements, e-mail blasts, and in Hana Hou!, Hawaiian’s award-winning inflight magazine.

Hawaiian is the nation’s highest-ranked carrier for service quality and performance in the 20th annual Airline Quality Rating study, having earned that distinction in three of the past four years. Hawaiian has also led all U.S. carriers in on-time performance for each of the past seven years (2004-2010) as reported by the U.S. Department of Transportation. Consumer surveys by Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure and Zagat have all ranked Hawaiian the top domestic airline offering flights to Hawaii.
