Kihei’s Pi`ilani Village Hosts Halloween Night Festivities

While much of the attention surrounding Halloween has been on the full return of festivities to Lahaina, there is another venue across town that is also promoting family fun on Halloween night.
The merchants at Pi`ilani Village Shopping Center in South Maui, join in hosting Maui’s Family Friendly Halloween from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 31st.
The event begins with entertainment by Deja Vu at 6 p.m., with music from the 70s and 80s.
At 7 p.m., the festivities feature a costume contest for adults and children with prizes for Most Natural, Scary, and Original.
Registration for the costume contest will take place on the night of the event at the main stage tent by the food court.
Another featured attraction is a Trunk or Treat at Hilo Hattie, featuring 10 Maui Classic Cruiser cars, and DJ music by Next Level Entertainment.
The Kihei Youth Center is participating by offering kids games and prizes; the County of Maui Volunteer Center offers a HandsOn Maui face painting booth; and Timothy Wenk and Brenton Keith will be performing magic tricks.
As part of the evening festivities, participating merchants will participate in Trick or Treat by hand out treats and goodies for kids.
Merchants include ABC Store, Alii Dry Cleaners, American Savings Bank, Ba-Le, Bank of America, Blockbuster, Central Pacific Bank, Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, Coldstone, Crazy Shirts, GNC, Go Wireless, Hilo Hattie, Jamba Juice, Kihei Wailea Medical Center, L&L Drive-In, Maui Radiology, Maui Tacos, Maui Tropix, Maui Waterwear, Minit Stop, Outback, Rehab Hospital of the Pacific, Round Table Pizza, Safeway, Shoe Fetish, Starbucks, Subway and Supercuts.
The event will be emceed by radio personalities Makani and Charly of Pacific Radio Group’s 99.9 KISS FM.
