Natalie Cole’s Only Hawaii Show to be on Maui

They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Musical legend Nat King Cole took the jazz world by storm in the 1930s and daughter Natalie Cole found her own notable musical success in the 70s.
Now 64 years old, Cole – known for such hits as “This Will Be”, “Inseparable” and “Our Love” – will be bringing her R&B, urban contemporary and jazz-based pop to the MACC’s Castle Theater next Monday, March 10.
According to the MACC, “her most recent CD release, Natalie Cole En Español (2013) breaks new ground as her first Spanish-language album. The collection revisits the rich repertoire of ageless Latin standards, featuring a distinctive take on three classics from her father’s catalog, plus several other carefully chosen selections from the Latin American Songbook.”
Fans can consider themselves lucky, as the performance is multiple Grammy Award winner Cole’s only show in the state of Hawai’i.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $45, $65, $85, $125 and $150 and member discounts are available.
