Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected knee/waist high today at the best breaks. The best breaks could get sets up to belly/chest high from time to time.
West: Wave heights waist/chest high are expected today with top breaks reaching shoulder high on the sets. Spots shadowed by other islands will be smaller.
South: The south-southwest is expected to bring waist/chest high waves today. The best breaks could get up to shoulder high on the sets.
Oho swell is expected to fade out through the weekend.

Our current north-northwest is expected to fade Friday into the weekend. A moderate north northwest swell is expected to build late Saturday, peak Sunday and maintain through the middle of next week.

Small, long period south and west swells will persist through the weekend. Surf along south facing shores will continue to be chest to head high through Friday, with possible advisory level face heights this weekend as the west swell get a reinforcement.

East shores should remain small as light to moderate trade winds prevail. No small craft advisories are expected through the forecast period.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
