NNW Holds Through Saturday Morning Before Easing

A High Surf Advisory is posted for north and west shores of Molokai and the north shore of Maui through 6 a.m. Saturday.

Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected to be double to triple overhead in the morning for the best exposures. By the afternoon the swell begins to ease.
West: Surf is waist high today or less. Spots catching the wrap will be bigger.
South: Surf is waist high today or less.
Our current north-northwest swell is expected to hold through Saturday morning. The swell will ease over the afternoon and Sunday into early next week. Another couple swells are expected for next week, will keep an eye on it.
Nothing significant is expected out of the SPAC for the foreseeable future.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
