Water Conservation Request Remains for Wākiu, Hāna

The Maui Department of Water Supply is continuing its effort toward resolving pumping issues in Wākiu, Hāna. Consumers in the following areas may experience low water pressure:

Wākiu area
Hāna School
Hāna Medical Center
Waiʻānapanapa area
ʻUakea Road.

Consumers in these areas are asked to continue conservation measures until further notice and to avoid unnecessary water use such as the irrigation of lawns, personal washing of vehicles, and other nonessential activities.

The public is asked to call the department’s 24-hour service line at (808) 270-7633 if a water-related problem occurs or if there are any questions.
