Job Summary:
Supervises, monitors, and ensures high quality cost effective food services for inpatient, Skilled Care Facility, cafeteria, and catering areas. Oversees daily foodservice operations. Collaborates with other Food and Nutrition Services management in planning, development and implementation of department programs, policies, and goals. Supervises assigned staff.
Essential Responsibilities:
Supervises daily food service operation for hospital patients, skilled care facility residents, cafeteria and catering services to ensure compliance to food production, food service, sanitation, safety, security and health regulations and standards. Enforces security and cash control procedures per policy. Plans weekly employee schedules and updates or redistributes staff as needed to cover shortages. Assist with coordinating staffing for catering functions. Processes and approve employee TIME. Supervises sanitation and HACCP on a day to day basis. Monitors department activities, redirecting workflow as required to ensure compliance with regulations.
