Looking Ahead
Hurricane Hector will pass by to the south of the Hawaiian islands today keeping breezy trade wind weather in place across the state. Deep moisture lagging behind Hector will overspread the islands this morning, resulting in showery trade wind weather through tonight. A drier airmass will overspread the state from southeast to northwest on Friday, with a more typical trade wind pattern featuring mainly windward and mauka showers returning by Friday night and continue through the middle of next week.
