Crews from the Department of Water Supply will be conducting waterline repairs Thursday night, Jan. 10, 2019 through Friday morning, Jan. 11, fronting the Kahana Gateway Shopping Center in West Maui.

The work will begin at 8 p.m. on Jan. 10, and should be completed by 4 a.m. on Jan. 11, 2019.  Water will be turned-off from 11:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. for the Kahana Gateway Shopping Center, the Kahana Gateway Professional Center and the Kahana Gateway Apartments.

A portion of Hoʻohui Road will also be closed from Honoapiʻilani Highway to the entrance of Kahana Gateway Shopping Center.

Department officials say traffic traveling southbound will not be able to make a right turn onto Hoʻohui Road and traffic traveling northbound will not be able to make a left turn onto Hoʻohui Road. Traffic on the eastbound lane on Hoʻohui Road will be open. All traffic coming from Kahana Ridge will not be able to cross Honoapiʻilani Highway.
