Maui Sugar Cane Train, Holiday Express.

With the holiday season just around the corner, the Lahaina Sugarcane Train is now accepting reservations for its Christmas joyrides.

Regular tickets cost $35 and Premium tickets cost $50. The premium option includes an additional gift for keiki and a photo with Santa.

Keiki ages 2 and younger are free.

The train also offers a 10 percent kama’āina discount. Riders can enter ‘kamaaina’ in the ‘enter code’ box on the checkout page. A valid Hawaiʻi id is required at check in to validate the discount.

Riders interested in a group option may buy out one of the train cars. Car #4 holds up to 56 guests and will cost $1,200 before taxes and fees. Each guest will receive their own souvenir ticket and riders may bring aboard special treats and presents. However, no alcohol will be allowed.

To book a full car, select all the seats in car #4 and enter the code ‘buyout’ in order to receive the discount.

Customers who provide a 24-hour notice before canceling a ride will receive a full refund or credit. No-shows will be charged the full price. Contact (808) 667-6851 for cancellations.

Rides will run nightly at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. from Nov. 29 to Dec. 31.

The train station is located at the corner of Pu’ukoli’i Road and Honoapi’ilani Highway, right across of the street from Airport Beach.

Riders are asked to check in 45 minutes prior to their trip. Parking at the station is limited.
