Kīhei Charter to Accept Student Applications
Student applications to Kīhei Charter School for the upcoming school year will be available on March 1.
Parent information sessions are slated for March 4, 12, 17, and 25 at 5 p.m. in the schoolʻs cafeteria. Applications will be available at the sessions, as well as the schoolʻs website.
Completed applications must be mailed or hand-delivered to the front office. No digital or faxed applications will be accepted.
Students are chosen by lottery due to the expected amount of applications.
Applications must be delivered or postmarked no later than March 31 for the first lottery selection date. Applications must be delivered or postmarked no later than April 30 for the second lottery selection date.
The first lottery will be held on April 6 and the second lottery will be held on May 6.
Both lotteries will be held in the school cafeteria at 5:30 p.m. Parents of selected students will be individually notified.
Students who are not admitted are placed on a waitlist. Families will be notified if a seat becomes available from the wait list.
Kīhei Charter School is also currently accepting applications for all faculty positions.
