Wailuku River – ʻĪao Flood Control Project. PC: US Army Corps of Engineers

The Honolulu District of the US Army Corps of Engineers hosts two online public meetings to discuss proposed repairs to the ʻĪao Flood Control Project. The same information will be presented at both meetings. USACE wants to share information with the community and solicit feedback on the proposed repairs. 

The meetings are as follows:

  • Saturday, Aug. 21, 9-10 a.m. HST
  • Thursday, Aug. 26, 5-6 p.m. HST

The Virtual Public Meetings are interactive and will include both visual and audio content. Participants may join via Cisco Web Ex at Iao Stream FCP Virtual Meeting. Another option is to join by phone toll-free: 1-844-800-2712–access code: 199 533 9315. Phone callers will have listening capabilities only and will not be able to speak during the meeting.

During each meeting, USACE will present proposed action from the draft environmental assessment, answer questions, and accept public comments. All public comments will be considered in the preparation of the environmental assessment and will become a part of the administrative record.
