‘Fuel Up, Do Good’ Benefits Maui Family Support Services

Maui Family Support Services Inc. received $8,214.38 as a result of Ohana Fuels’ “Fuel Up, Do Good” program during the second quarter of 2015.

Maui Ohana Fuels donated a portion of fuel sales to the raise funds and also provided materials for three car washes held in April, May and June.

Proceeds from the car washes also benefitted MFSS.

MFSS has served Maui County children and families for over 34 years, providing a variety of services to strengthen families.

“We are honored to be selected in this wonderful program of Ohana Fuels,”said Edeluisa Baguio-Larena, CEO of MFSS. “Their donation will help our agency in supplementing much needed funding for the services we provide in Maui County,”

Maui Family Support Services is a private, nonprofit agency incorporated in 1980 to provide early childhood development services to Maui’s families. The agency has provided over 34 years of continuous service to residents of Maui County.

MFSS’ mission is to promote healthy family functioning by providing supportive services that build on family strengths utilizing our collective resources toward the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Its prime directive is to utilize its collective resources toward the prevention of child abuse and neglect. The agency serves the islands of Maui, Lāna‘i and Moloka‘i.
