JAL to Celebrate Anniversary of Restarted Tokyo-Kona Service
With the successful restart of its Tokyo-Kona service on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2017, Japan Airlines is celebrating the route’s one-year anniversary with a special gate ceremony.
Japan Airlines Flight 770 is arriving from Tokyo this Saturday with a full flight.
Japan Airlines first started serving the island of Hawai‘i in 1996. The service was suspended in 2010 due to economic factors and restarted one year ago.
Japan Airlines Flight 770 Arrives from Tokyo at 10:15 a.m. at Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole. That will be followed by a special ceremony, and then a 12:15 departure of Japan Airlines Flight 779 for Tokyo.
