Mayor to Deliver State of the County at MACC

Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa announced he will deliver his 2014 State of the County Address on Wednesday, Feb. 5, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the McCoy Studio Theater at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center.
During his address, the mayor will highlight the county’s achievements in 2013, outline plans for the coming year, and discuss issues presently facing the County of Maui.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m., however organizers say inside seating is limited.
An overflow seating area with live viewing on a television monitor will be set up in the outdoor courtyard.
Light refreshments will also be served following the event.
