Looking Ahead
Winds are transitioning to light and variables Friday as a front approaches from the northwest. This front is forecast to move across most of the state over the weekend before stalling near the Big Island early next week. An increase in showers is forecast to accompany passage of the front. Behind it, very strong trade winds are forecast for the state this weekend.

Partly sunny skies with isolated windward and mauka showers and sunny skies for the leeward sides. High temperatures from 79° to 84°. East winds around 10 to 15 mph with local afternoon sea breezes in leeward spots.
