Maui Scientist Featured on The Discovery Channel

Sand might night seem like breaking news, but to Maui scientist Dr. Gary Greenberg its worthy of some extra attention.

On Wednesday February 2nd, The Discovery Channel’s show “The Daily Planet” featured a segment on Dr. Greenberg and his incredible microscopic photos of sand and plants. Dr. Greenberg takes his photographs using the Edge 3D Microscope, a three dimensional microscope he happened to invent.
Dr. Greenberg’s unique technology literally turns the natural world into fine art and allows the eye to see a side of nature it could not see on its own.
