First Hawaiian Bank Promotes Kahului Banker

Bard E. Peterson, Kahului Branch, was among four promotions announced yesterday by First Hawaiian Bank Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Don Horner.
Bard E. Peterson has been promoted to vice president and business banking team leader from vice president and business banking officer, Kahului Branch. Peterson manages a team of business loan officers that facilitate commercial loan transactions for business customers. A graduate of Baldwin High School, he has over 19 years of financial industry experience and joined First Hawaiian Bank as a loan representative in 1997. Peterson also has a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from the University of Oregon and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle, Washington.
Other promotions included Paula C. H. Chang to vice president and deputy chief credit officer, Credit Administration Division from vice president and corporate banking officer, Corporate Banking Division; Lloyd M. Okazaki to vice president and business banking team leader from vice president and business banking officer, Pearlridge Branch; and Glen G. Hiramoto to vice president and manager from vice president, Loan Recovery Department.
