A Small Craft Advisory is posted for Maui County windward waters and the ʻAlenuihāhā channel through 6:00 p.m. Wednesday for winds of 20 to 30 knots and rough seas up to 13 feet.
A High Surf Advisory is posted for north-facing shores of Maui and Moloka’i through 6:00 a.m. Wednesday for 10 to 15 foot faces. Expect strong breaking waves, shore break and strong longshore and rip currents making swimming difficult and dangerous.

Today we expect cloudy conditions and scattered showers for leeward areas in the morning. Partial clearing is expected for the afternoon in these areas. For windward locations partly cloudy skies are forecasted with isolated afternoon showers. Winds are expected out of the west from 15 to 25 mph. High temperatures are forecasted to fall in the range of 78° to 83°.

Mostly cloudy skies are forecasted with numerous leeward showers and scattered windward showers. Low temperatures from 65° to 71° degrees are expected. West winds from 15 to 20 mph are expected with higher gusts.

West winds are expected through the week. More weak fronts will pass over the islands from the west around Wednesday night and Friday. Light winds and drier weather are expected over the weekend. A stronger front may bring heavier rain around Monday night.
