Looking Ahead
A band of moisture associated with a dissipating front will continue to affect mainly windward portions of Maui county and the Big Island through much of the week, with short term flooding concerns focused on Maui. Trade winds will ease later in the week, while lingering moisture over the eastern end of the state may possibly spread west.

We expect mostly cloudy skies for windward spots with showers likely. Partly sunny for the leeward sides with isolated showers. Northeast winds from 15 to 20 mph. High temperatures from 79° to 84°.
