Vladimir Lantukhov
April 14, 1937 – October 15, 2016
Vladimir Prokofievich Lantukhov, 79, of Kealakekua, Hawaiʻi, was born in Stavropol, Russia, in April of 1937, and passed away on Oct. 15, 2016 in Kealakekua, Hawaiʻi. Vladimir was an oral surgeon and dentist.
He is survived by spouse Yevgenia Lantukhova; daughters Galina Vekhova (spouse Yevgeniy Vekhov) of Kailua-Kona; Svetlana Evtimova (spouse Ivan Evtimov) of Pernik, Bulgaria; five grandchildren and one great grandson.
Memorial services were held, with graveside services at 11 on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016 at the Naʻalehu Community Cemetery.
Rodney Joseph Brittain
October 13, 1946 – October 13, 2016
Visitation will be held at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with service at 11:30 a.m. In nichement at Maui Veteran’s Cemetery in Makawao on Monday, Oct. 24, 2016 at 1 p.m.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Vanessa; sons, Rodney “Joey” Brittain Jr, Albert “Pache” (Keni) Brittain, Kelly “Hanalei” (Dee-Dee) Brittain-Leong, Alika Brittain, Sir Charles (Brieane Gomes) Brittain; hanai son, Michael Malaczewski; daughters, Lena Devlin, Mallory (Malik Page-Stanley) Brittain; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers; Fred (Toni) Brittain, Kenneth (Pam) Brittain, George (Momi) Brittain; brother-in-law, Sunao Minobe and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Fredrick Brittain and Margaret Brittain; brother, Jerome Brittain and sister, Peggy Minobe.
