Tara Dugan, digital sales director of MauiNow interviewed Kimo Haynes, president of Hawaii Petroleum, Minit Stop and Ohana Fuels to learn how the coronavirus pandemic has affected his business operations.
Haynes expressed that Hawaii Petroleum’s top priority is the safety of its employees and customers.
“It’s been challenging trying to make sure we can operate safely both for our employees and for our customers… Everything we do is how do we do it right, how do we do it safely.”
He said that its business operations are impacted because most of its customers are individuals and businesses that have been impacted by the coronavirus.
“It’s going to be challenging as we work through this. We have been here a long time and we’ve worked with a lot of people, and we are here get to through and help people through it. We are a business partner and we are also friends with a lot of our customers and we are working through this together,” Hayne said.
