National Geographic announced today its annual Best of the World 2026 list, the 25 destinations that define how and where we’ll travel in 2026: this year,Maui has earned a spot among them.

Lahaina Restoration Foundation’s Hawaiian Music Series of February will feature a performance by local musician Joshua Kahula, with an evening of soulful island music under the stars. The free, family-friendly concert will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the Ocean Lawn at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in Kāʻanapali.

The 13th Festival of Pacific Arts & Culture (FestPAC), the world’s largest celebration of indigenous Pacific Islanders convenes on O‘ahu from June 6-16, 2024. More than 2,200 delegates from 27 Pacific nations will gather for 10 days of cultural exchange, appreciation, and celebration at various venues across the island. More than 50 festival events, including the opening and closing ceremonies, Festival Village, heritage dance and contemporary music performances, heritage arts demonstrations, visual arts exhibits, and more, will be free and open to the public.

In a night of reggae bliss, two Grammy-nominated artists – J Boog and Collie Buddz – will perform at the Alexander & Baldwin Amphitheater at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on Friday, March 29.

Las Vegas’ 2nd annual Holo Holo Music Festival is expanding to three days in April 2024, featuring J Boog, Iam Tongi, Maoli, The Green and more.
